🪱🌱 Worms at Work in 5th Grade!
Our 5th Grade Wolves have recently been digging into the science of decomposition and food chains! As part of their learning, students recently had the opportunity to get an up-close look at some very important decomposers—worms!
Students observed the worms and learned more about the important role decomposers play in breaking down organic matter and keeping nutrients moving through an ecosystem.
And the investigation isn’t over yet! 🧪 Our young scientists will conduct an experiment to discover whether worms prefer damp or dry environments.
Hands-on science, curious minds, and a few wiggly classroom visitors make for some pretty great learning! 🐺💙

🍎 Kindergarten Adventures at the Apple Orchard! 🍏
Our Kindergarten Wolves recently enjoyed a beautiful day of learning and exploring at Ocheda Apple Orchard!
Students learned about how apple trees change throughout the different seasons, why bees are so important to the orchard, and even got a behind-the-scenes look at where apples are stored while they wait to be sold.
They also put their observation skills to work during a fun scavenger hunt and had plenty of time to explore the orchard!
What a sweet way to take learning outside the classroom! 🍎🍂
Thank you to Ocheda Apple Orchard for a wonderful day with our Kindergarten Wolves!
